*Character Trait Education*
On Monday of each week, Ms. Lockyer will announce the "Character Trait of the Week". She will describe this trait - what it looks like at school, what it sounds like and what it feels like. Each day, students will be reminded of these traits on the morning announcements. Each teacher will also reinforce the weekly trait in their classroom with posters, quotes etc.. Staff will give out "Bear Paws" (our point reward system at Alexandra) for students who demonstrate the trait during the week. For Friday's weekly assembly, each teacher will choose a student-of-the-week who most or best demonstrated this trait. These students will get a certificate and a "Bear Paw".
