The Shop and Support Fundraising Program is simple and effective way to raise funds through your everyday shopping, budgeting and gift giving at over 250 brand name retailers, including major grocery stores, Canadian Tire, Petro-Canada, Future Shop, HMV, Starbuck’s, Famous Players, Blockbuster and many more!

The concept is easy, the process is simple and the benefits are rewarding. If each family were to spend $150 per week on groceries and gas combined with the Shop and Support program per week Alexandra School would raise $25 000 over the whole school year. Fund raising made simple.

Here is what to do:

1.   Go to www.shopandsupport.ca

2.   Click on the supporters link

3.   Go to Log in tab at the top left and click

4.   Go to the sign up key and click

5.   Follow the three step process

6.   In the third step, Account Information, you will be asked the option that describes you best. Please select “I have a 10-digit group number”.

7.   Alexandra Public School ID Number is 0100557076

8.   Finish, click register and you are ready to shop

9.   To Shop go to www.shopandsupport.ca, and click on the Supporter link

10. Go to the Log in and enter your email address and password you created in the sign up section

11. Now you can shop and even pay for your purchase online, by telephone banking or pre-authorized chousing It is simple. Please note that you can still use reward programs (i.e. Air miles, Shoppers Optimum) with Shop and Support cards.

Orders must be submitted and paid for on Tuesday’s by noon and they will be available for pick-up on Friday’s.

Payment options are Visa, Master Card, online banking, or mail a cheque to the company, and you may also phone your orders in to the company. 1-866-387-8073 toll free.

Please know that this is an on going fundraiser for the whole year! You can also go online and see how much the school is making.
